Extreme Overclocking Workshop

This year we are again trackin the path of innovation. The aim of the people in Overclocking. es,- who are the main organisers and responsible for this Workshop-, is to get even further than last year, and with the sponsorship of Asus , Intel and Ocz , carry out the first overclock workshop to be ever made in a party. They want to help take up overclocking and freezing all those people who have never been able to do so.

On 21st July, and at three different times, (11.00, 13.00 and 16.30), they will make a guided tour to the extreme performance world. Every turn will last between an hour and a half and two hours, and there will be three of them so as not to have too large groups. Thus we can cope with about 25 people in each turn, for a small number of people makes experience closer and more didactical. Each turn will be exactly the same so no same person will be allowed to enter more than just one. Furthermore, as we shall possibly be a bit pressed for time we beg you to come about 15 minutes before your start time.

The workshop will be divided into three parts and you need to bring nothing except for learning willingness and your accreditatioin badge. We will cater you with everything else. The first part will be an explanatory talk on overclock and how it affects our pcs. In the second one we will have a look at the Bios and overclocking options, and pass some proofs to check air and overclockless performance. In the last part we will have a small extreme overclock session, always under due supervision and we will directly see how this affects our computer's behaviour. We will learn to isolate a plate, what we have to bear in mind with extreme freezing and so on.

The day after the workshop activity, i.e., 22nd July, professionals will take their turn, for we will be able to enjoy an exhibition by the best extreme overclockers in Spain. Up to 10 people will get their computers below 0º degrees, in the best exhibition ever performed in a party.

If you are interested in all this stuff, you can easily take part by giving your name in the very party place. However we cannot asure you one of the places because numbers are limited. Therefore if you wish to book in advance you can do so by getting the right form in overclocking.es , and just filling it.

There will be presents for everyone taking part, and our main sponsor, Asus, will raffle several prizes among participants.
