In previous editions of Euskal Encounter, there were enough competitions for you to show your computer knowledge or your skill at videogames, but there was no way to shoe your freaky knowledge, you could not show you were the one at Simpsons or Stargate.
That's why we have created this quiz, so that you can show you have seen more anime and sci-fi hours than anybody else, that you are a board game expert (Warhammer, Rol), or videogame (MonkeyIsland, Final Fantasy) and of course that you spent great moments reading friki literature or watching mythical films.
We have decided to divide freaky knowledge in five areas:
1.- Animation, series such as The Simpsons or Futurama
2.- Science-fiction series. Series Ciencia
Ficción.
3.- Anime, manga and USA comic.
4.- Feakyi literature and mythical films.
5.- Board games and videogames.
Should you believe you know everything, the good friki must, don't hesitate
to take part.
We will divide the competition in two parts.
1.-There will be a previous test via web in order to get the best 6 out of
you all. Both punctuation and time needed will be taken into account. Test
will appear on our site on Friday at 5.00 pm, and will desiappear again on
Saturday at 2.00 pm. With the internet on our side everyone is able to get
all the answers right, so try and keep legal and not use it. Whenever
it is possible.
2.- The six best will be taken to the
main stage, where a TV like quiz show will take place for you to show your
knowledge in front of over 4000 people.
Organisers
will give the winner a prize and she/he will hold the title “The freakiest
in Euskal Encounter” and will be able to defend it next year. So if you believe
you are a real freak, take part.
