Demo 8bits

Rules for 8bits competitions

General

  1. Add a .TxT file with the work name, which cpmpetition it is for, who its authors are, and any other information you might think necessary, as well as a contact address. Participation can be remote, so you can send any production without being here. Should you win a prize, it would be sent to the address provided. All productions will be made public just after the party as shareware.
  2. Do not forget to include any necessary information in order to play your production.

Demo competition

  1. Your demo has to be self-playable, presented for the first time in Euskal Encounter and liable to be run on any 8bit platform (Spectrum, Amstrad, Cbm16, Cbm64, Vic20, Dragon...).
  2. Best thing to do is send it as .DSK, .D64, .TAP etc. files. Depending on what kind of platform it is for, i.e., it is most liked if it can be run on emulator.
  3. Just the forst 5 minutes of the demo/intro will be shown, although it may be longer.
  4. So that competition effectively takes place, at least three productions willhave to be presented.
