Internet Euskadi, present once more in Euskal Encounter, is organizing its classical technology Ginkana. Any team or person can take part just by e-mailing to interneteuskadi@gmail.com The Ginkana will have a series of entertaining proves to solve which you will have to show good will, energy, knowledge on the net and team work. The winner will take part in the Bubber 2008 award giving ceremony in December in Bilbao which is organised by the basque internaut association.

On saturday 26th (17:00h) the videogame related books "Mondo Pixel" will be presented in RetroEuskal . "Mondo Pixel" is a bi-annual collection of books about videogame culture, from an alternative and nonconformist point of view, and born from the first Spanish videogame blog (also entitled "Mondo Pixel"). After the presentation, the book designer and director (the famous Eunice Szpillman and John Tones) will be signing book copies, that will be on sale at RetroEuskal stand.
Following the freak ambience and the "game consoles special" of this year RetroEuskal, the documentary entitled "Hobby" will be showed in the conference room, Saturday 27th in the morning (11:00am). Its director Ciro Altabás (also known for his short movies "Made in Japan" and "DVD", the latest chosen as the official movie for the Spanish "friki pride day" on 2006) will take part on the talk after the show.
Euskaltel wants to prize Euskal Encounter attendants. That is why they are giving attendants who are already their customers and have a Despega 6M Broad Band connection the 50% of their monthly installment for a year. Further information will be available in Euskaltel’s stand in Euskal Encounter 16.
Thanks to Euskaltel, one of "The Paramount Comedy nights" with 3 of its exhilarating monologues will take place the next 25th July at the Pabilion no.4 of the BEC. Owing to this, Euskaltel is giving 200 entrance tickets so that Euskal Encounter 16 attendants can also attend this event. Be aware of the news to get yours.
There will be a maximun number of 40 screens available, and the rental cost will be 45 €. You can apply for one on the extranet, and you can also cancel your application by writing to olatz@euskalencounter.org. In any case the deadline is July 10th.
Seats reserved and not yet occupied for sceners have just been unlocked. From now on anyone will be able to choose a seat in this area. Remember that it is possible to change your seat through the extranet system.
